How do I book an appointment:
All of our artists manage their own bookings. To make a booking, select your chosen artist from our “Artists”, section & complete the booking request form, this will go directly to the artist, they will then contact you to make further arrangements.

Waiting List:
Some of our artists have longer waiting lists than others. You will be informed of this by the artists at the time of making your booking request.

Booking with a Guest Artist:
Guests will manage their own bookings, unless otherwise statedCheck the “Guest Artist” section for all the relevant info.

How much does it cost:
Prices can vary greatly depending on the design, size & placement, your artist will discuss this with you, before any final bookings are made. Once an appointment has been confirmed, you will be required to pay a deposit directly to that artist. The amount may vary depending on the length of time you are booked in for or whether you have multiple appointment booked.

Deposit are non refundable, however you may reschedule your appointment, if you give your artists at least 48 hours notice. This is at the artists discretion.

How should I prep for my appointment:
Prior to your appointment, we recommend eating at least 2 hours before & keeping well hydrated throughout the tattoo, water is recommended.
Drinking the night before is not recommended. We have the right to refuse anyone who is under the influence, of drugs or alcohol.
Avoid any form of tanning, e.g. sunbeds, fake tan, excessive sun, prior to the appointment.

Coming to my appointment:
Please arrive at the studio around 10 minutes before the appointment.
Please bring some identification with you, driving license or passport only.
Once you arrive, you will have to complete a consent form.

You are welcome to bring a friend to the appointment. However we ask that you keep it to one person. We ask that you guests respect the studio space & are aware that they are a working environment, which requires consideration at all times.

We also ask that you do not take calls throughout the tattoo, this is disruptive for your artist & as we have an open plan studio space, can very distracting for everyone around.

If you must take a call, then we ask that you leave the room.

Can I just walk in:
We are a private studio. We do not currently take walk ins, however most artists are happy to discuss ideas or have a brief chat, if they know you are coming, so please contact preferred artist directly to arrange this.

Can I get tattooed if I am under 18:
It is illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18, regardless of parental consent. You will be required to show ID at your appointment, failure to produce ID, will result in an instant cancellation of the appointment & your deposit will be lost.

Conditions that may prohibit you from getting a tattoo:
There are certain conditions which mean you may be unable to get tattooed or you should consent your doctor prior to making the appointment.

Pregnancy / Breast Feeding
Pre/Post surgical procedure
Heomophelia
Compromised immune system
Consent your doctor if you are :
Diabetic
Epileptic

If you suffer or have suffer from any blood born viruses, such as Hepatitis or HIV, you are obliged to inform us prior to the procedure, as stated on our consent form.

It is a the artists discretion as to whether he or she will proceed with the appointment.

Getting to the studio:
BSTC is in central Glasgow. We are on the 2nd floor of an on street building.

We are easily accessible by public transport, Queen St station, Central Station & Buchanan bus station, are all within walking distance.

Arriving by car; there is on street parking, but this is expensive & requires you to top up a meter.

By Air:
Glasgow airport is around 15 – 20 minutes in a taxi, around £15 – £20
